i love miranda kerr! she’s such a role model when it comes to health and nutrition
Just think. If you make 1 healthy choice a day, 30 healthy choices per month, 365 a year. Imagine the difference in your health.
Dom Mazzetti vs. How Girls Eat.
Funny as anything. DON’T BE THIS GIRL. There are SO many of them. I’m definitely guilty of some of this thinking at times. Healthy, sustainable eating guys.
I really feel that my body craves to be in the mountains or by the ocean or in the countryside.
I bought my Fitbit Charge HR on Wednesday night from Best Buy. So Thursday February 19th was my first full day wearing the tracker. I’ll make a list so this is easy to follow.
Pros:
* Lightweight & Comfortable
* Simple to use and Setup
* Easily linked to MyFitnessPal and other tracking websites so that you can get an accurate count of calories in VS. calories out.
* Automatically logs exercises like walking (today is auto logged a 28 minute walk based on duration and my heart rate).
* Also tracks floors climbed, restful or restless sleep, active minutes per day including if heart rate was in a fat burning zone.
* Motivates to hit activity goal (which you can change).
* Helps track water intake as well.
* Gives you an idea of calories you burn each day not only by BMR measurements but by activity that (I believe) is made more accurate by heart rate tracking.
Cons:
* Does not come out of band. Pick a size and that’s it. But as pointed out by @downwiththelbs you can buy the size you believe will fit and if weight loss causes it to become too loose you can move the tracker up your arm so you do not have to replace when fat is lost.
* Lighter colors much like soft phone cases can absorb dyes and dirt and cause the band to look dirty. In my experience with those type of phones cases, the dirty look cannot be removed. (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong or share if you’ve found a way to clean and remove all dirt and discoloration!) This is part of the reason I picked dark purple instead of the light pastel green.
* There are known syncing issues and Fitbits are mass manufactured so unfortunately there are a multitude of potential issues. However, Fitbit has good customer service so if an issue arises within the 1 year warranty period it’s best to remedy the situation and get a replacement. I waited 2 more years (procrastination and forgetfulness!) and was not able to get a replacement, they did however offer me a 25% discount.
I honestly have not really found anything I dislike about the Fitbit Charge HR. It tracks my steps seemingly well, gives me calorie burn based on my BMR and heart rate which I think will help me to get my over eating under control and get healthier!
Feel free to ask me anything you think I can answer about this, I’d be happy to talk about it and help any way I can.
@cupcakesandproteinshakes I love it and I say go for it! Also best buy.com had them on sale for $126 which is cheaper than in store. Do you have those in Canada? Hope that helps?
My pee is 98% clear.
I win.
Every day I want to post 1 thing I consider a “win” toward good health. I’m also tracking myself for 1 year to get as healthy as possible and I want to think about it every day.
Would anyone else like to join me?
These are my goals for this year:
